Machno memorial

On our way to Dnjepropetrovsk (since September 20, 2016 it is called Dnipro) we visited the Machno memorial at Eichenfeld. Next to is was a sunflower seed processing plant.

Red Cross Hospital

The pictures show what is left from this hospital in Dnipro.

It is very likely that Betty’s grandfather (Grosspa) has received his training as Sanitäter in the army of the Tsar in this hospital. The front corner was the pharmacy.

Museum and Town

In the Historical Museum we saw the impressive exhibition about the victims of suppression over the years, including Mennonites.

We also walked to the Toews wool factory
